In between file/version updates, additional content that was included in a previous update file but not released immediately into the gameplay world can be released (usually weekly as part of an event week), a process commonly referred to as 'drip-feeding'.
DLC updates can range from new clothing and vehicles to new features and game modes.
As with the original Grand Theft Auto IV. Both expansions were later released for PlayStation 3 and Windows in 2010. It includes The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony, both originally released on the Xbox 360 in 2009 as part of an exclusive deal with Microsoft. Certain title updates will feature new content, labelled as DLC updates. Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City is a compilation of two expansion packs released for 2008's Grand Theft Auto IV.
Periodically, Rockstar Games will release Title Updates, also known as Patches, that will fix certain issues, glitches and exploits found within Grand Theft Auto V and in Grand Theft Auto Online that have been reported by the community or found by Rockstar Games themselves.
